Whitney Houston – It’s Okay (Borneland Remix)

I love the original, which can be a great start, but also hard for the remixer. The conclusion? The danish Borneland brothers have done again! The guys behind one of the best remixes last year (Beyonce – Bug A Boo) have again taken a strong vocal and made something new and great. Good work boys!

Cassie – Long Way 2 Go (feinARTIG Bootshake)

The boys from feinARTIG have once again delivered a solid rendition of a all-time classic! Long Way 2 Go is Cassie with a little more dirt, a little more push and a lot more aggressiveness. While their take on 50 Cent’s & The Game’s “Hate It Or Love It” was infused with a serious tech vibe, this one is 100% pure G-House! “Rock with us now!”

Rampa – Good Times / Roll EP

Groove Magazine is featuring Rampa‘s new EP on Berlin-Gang label Keinemusik (KM). Staying true to KM’s signature percussive design, Rampa takes you on a journey through the soulful bliss that is “Good Times” featuring vocals by Aquarius Heaven and another true Rampa original: “Roll”.
However, especially “Good Times” caught my eye (or ear) and is a refreshing take on a style of music, that has characterized KM since its birth – a personal recommendation by your German Soundpusher!

Rihanna – FourFiveSeconds (The Him Remix)

RiRi (and ‘Ye) is everywhere, and even though I personally quickly get sick and tired of being overexposed to certain artists and other celebs repeatedly, I have to admit that The Him adds a certain charm to Rihanna and Kanye West’s newly released track. The remix relies on heavy strings and other well-known elements you know from the recent “Tropical House” movement paired with some aspects that remind you of something you heard on Avicii’s album “True”.
Still, this track could very well become a peaktime bomb for those DJ’s who neither rely fully on House nor Hip-Hop/Pop and will definitely elevate The Him to new heights on Soundcloud and Facebook respectively.

Monte – Canvas EP

Hamburg stronghold and longtime Jeudi imprint Monte has returned to his beloved hometown label with a “different” take on the classic electronic EP. Where most artists feature tracks that focus on displaying the diversity of the artists creative spectrum, Monte takes two extra steps forward. Both hard hitting peak tracks “Bubblegum” and “Push” are accompanied by a “Theme” track –  a movie score-esque version. Here lies the true genius that is Monte. Where the Bubblegum Theme sets a rather dark tone that goes fine with its electronic counterpart, the theme for Push paints a different picture. Sunny vibes that take you back to the days of Axel Foley and skating girls in leotards prepare the you for a journey through the magnificence of the Canvas EP.

BEATCHUGGERS – Keep On (A Lister remix)

Danish producer Beatchuggers is back with his new track ”Keep On” on his own label Chuggy Traxx. . UK rising star A Lister drops an awesome bouncy deep house remix. Great keystab, rolling bassline, skippy beats, and a cut up vocal - Sure to get the dancefloor movin’ !!

Secondcity – What Can I Do ft. Ali Love (Set Mo Remix)

The amazing track from Secondcity has surely gotten a real workover! This track has been turned into a huge Nu Disco track with lots of 80′s influences! It’s fresh and fucking funky! The bassline is absolutely entrancing! I can’t personally not listen to this track at the moment, make sure to hit it up and check out the remixer! Lots of 80′s love from Wicked!

Drake – 0 To 100 //The Catch Up (Someonehad2doit Edition)

As the text says “Nobody did, so someone had to”. This artist/artists come out of nowhere and with no elaborate text about how it was made. Just plain and simply the text mentioned before. It’s filled with energy and hard a hard pounding beat, this is very interesting and is surely something I listen to at the moment! Make sure to check out Someonehad2doit!

Bitch, Please [20K Compilation]

Flow-Fi is a collective filled with creative and forward thinking individuals. They’re not restricted by genres or any sort of labeling. As they say; “Just great music”. These guys just released a compilation, named “Bitch, Please” [20K compilation] and it is the bomb! All sorts of genres and unique elements! The best part yet is that you can get it via Bandcamp, meaning that you can basically name your price and support these awesome people!

Personally I’m really enjoying; Kuma – Fine China (Remix), Chris McClenney – Tonight (Youngblood) and Fortune. – Unity.

Make sure to check out the rest of the compilation below:

Alesso has just released his smash hit Heroes and it has recieve a massive amount of positive feedback! This track simply could not avoid the remix treatment and who else to do this than Amtrac? His skills and take on this combined is an absolute bomb! Have a listen and enjoy!

Kwabs – Walk (Jaded Remix)

Kwabs is one of the most interesting upcoming artists straight out of London, and this remix was actually done a little time ago, but because of the huge succes the track “Walk” has had, it would be a crime not to post this. Jaded is by far one of my favorite producer trios! The atmosphere they deliver is unparalleled, and almost like an Amtrac track! Make sure to check this monster out!

Route 94 ft. Jesse Glynne – My Love (BESSY Edition)

Route 94 and Jesse Glynne really did deliver a crossover track with both mainstream potential as well as a bit of underground genre inputs! They had a chartrocker and since then it’s been remixed, edited and bootlegged a thousand times! This time it’s Bessy giving us their take on the track. The Bessy edition has a groovy, and fresh disco vibe! I gotta say, I dig it!
